Its Me Against Cupid.

all day today i didnt do much but read. & what did i read? yeap! u guessed it! 'a thousand splendid suns' by KHALED HOSSEINI.

i seriously spent my whole day with my nose in this book. i make sure i finished reading it by the end of today! & i did yay! i was like wake up, read, took a shower, then continue reading, had breakfast,while reading, mum asked to water the plants, then read again, cooked & read (multitasking), then dinner,followed by more reading. this book is just the best book ive ever read & just cant be put down! it just wont lett me.

ayte, this book is about asghanistan during its war period, & this story was told from two perpestives of these two women. mariam & laila. they come from two diffrent ways of lives but each have a story to tell. about their own lives, their past, thier tragedies & dreams. they live in war where by, they will lost thier family members, friends,love ones due to it. the two of them have met but never would they have thought their live will take a turn over & cross each other paths tht will bind them so closly together in a way they would never have think of.

this story have evry bit of possible emotions only a person could feel & have. love , sorrow , grive, proud, envy, lust, excited,scared,hurt, delighted,shocked . with all the unexpected twists & turn, this book will definatly make u screeeeeeeem for moreee (:

when i read it, i was like damn! when someone died, i felt like griving for them, when one of them got happy i was over joyed, but when one of the charecters was sturck with a tragedy so heart wreching, my heart went all numb & i cried. i really fell for this story.

& i belive, tht this story is ( i suposed) just made up. but the settings, the time, the history of it all. the war. it was all real. real life people go thru their life in war just as it was written in this story. death,brutality,hurt,lost... only tht this is all real. so this book really did left an imprint on me. i nvr look at the world, my world, the same again. i cherish what i have & pray fer the rest of these people to have the same.
